Fishing Bumper Sub

Bumper Sub is a great and absolutely necessary addition on almost every fishing job allowing the working string to free play. The Bumper Sub helps the operator to release the fishing tool in-case it is unfeasible to pull the fish by providing upward or downwards bumps to engage or disengage the fishing tools. In milling and cutting operations, the bumper sub is used to provide feeding force to the mechanical internal cutter, ensuring a reliable and even cut. Normally, Fishing Bumper Subs are installed in the drill string immediately above the fishing tool or safety joints. Carefully designed parts enable the bumper subs to be used multiple times without any special and continuous maintenance.
